On a routine bicycle trip to the local ice creamery, an unexpected detour led us into a field of cornflowers. The sight of their blue petals amidst golden wheat was irresistible. Before we knew it, an impromptu cornflower picking session began, a bounty perfect for adding a whimsical touch to our Earl Grey tea.
